The process for selecting a meal plan is different depending on a student's housing arrangement, as well as their class standing. Find more information on the meal plans webpage.
Students Living On Campus
Students who live on campus are able to select their meal plan as a part of the housing application process. The housing application is available on MyRED > housing portal.
Students Living Off Campus
Students who live off campus can begin their meal-plan-only application via the housing portal. Meal-plan-only applications can be accessed by following these steps:
| 1. Access the housing portal or copy and paste: https://go.unl.edu/housing-portal into your web browser. |
| 2. Select "Add a meal plan" in the drop-down box. |
| 3. Select "Apply" next to the meal-plan-only application. |
| 4. Complete all pages until you receive confirmation of completion. |
